Education certificates
Qualifications
The general education curriculum is delivered in Years 5 and 6 in the primary school and Years 7 to 10 in the Integrated Secondary School (ISS). The qualifications at the end of Year 10 are the secondary school leaving certificate (MSA) and advanced vocational training certificate (eBBR). The vocational training certificate (BBR) can also be completed at the end of Year 9 but also after Year 10. Depending on the school qualifications achieved, it is then possible to move onto our vocational college or school sixth form.
In the three-year version at the vocational college, the path to the German equivalent to A-levels (Abitur) leads through a one-year introductory phase and then the following two-year qualification phase. What is unique here is the option of being able to take a specialist course in acrobatic arts.
The general university of applied sciences entrance qualification certificate can be achieved after Year 12 in the school sixth form and one year at the vocational college.
